ABOUT ME:
My name is Becky. I am an artist and a photographer based near Lampeter, in West Wales. I also work as a model too, so I am very familiar with working on either side of the lens. I live and breathe all things creative: this is my passion, and my brain never switches off from this. People fascinate me, and I love taking pictures of them! I like to create narrative images, that tell a story; emotive images that resonate with viewer; or quirky, strange surreal images that leave the viewer with more questions than answers. One thing I do not take is a straight, ‘normal’ image (if there is such a thing). I always want to do something a bit different! Thinking outside the box is very much my speciality.
WHAT I DO:
My passion is to create striking images of people! I would like my work to make you feel empowered, strong, and beautiful. To see yourself with a fresh pair of eyes, and maybe accept yourself a little more. We are all our own worst critic and sometimes it’s nice to stop that negative train of thought and replace it with a more positive appraisal of oneself. I’m a huge supporter of the body positivity movement and I believe that we need to fight back at the unrealistic and unobtainable standards of beauty as set by media and celebrity culture. Our own natural bodies and faces are just perfect as they are!
PORTRAITURE:
Would you like to have some beautifully taken portraits of yourself, your loved one, your family, or your pets? These shoots may be done at your home, or out on location. Either simple fashion-based portraits, or themed (e.g. you may like to dress up). They can be quirky, creative, formal, informal, silly or serious...!
ART NUDE LOCATION PHOTO SHOOTS:
I specialise in art nude in the environment. Have you ever been curious about posing nude? I can provide you with a safe and non judgemental space to try nude modelling, to connect with nature, and create some tasteful artwork worthy of wall space in your home! I will treat you with the sensitivity, respect and dignity that you deserve. I am keen to promote natural beauty and body positivity. Anyone can do this – regardless of gender, age, size or body shape. I will show you how to pose, and will capture your most flattering angles. Shoots are out on location – forests, woodlands, beaches, hillsides, waterfalls… I will ensure that we shoot somewhere that is private and sheltered enough so that you can relax into the shoot without any worry. Each shoot will be tailored to your individual needs and abilities.
BOUDOIR PHOTO SHOOTS:
Whether for yourself, or as a gift for your loved one, boudoir shoots are a wonderful way to show a more intimate and sensual side of you or your partner.
Suitable for ANY age, gender, size or ability!
These shoots are done in the comfort of your own home.
Styles of boudoir include:
Romance (lingerie, lace, flowers, soft window light, candles)
Art Nude (making interesting shapes with the body and accentuating your curves to make images that are artistic in nature)
Sexy / Sensual (similar to Romantic, but utilising more seductive or suggestive poses)
Fetish / Kink (this varies hugely so please enquire)
Couples (same as Romantic or Sensual, but with both of you)
Pre-wedding boudoir (same as Romantic, but using wedding night lingerie and veil etc)
CREATIVE / FANTASY STYLE:

I have a large collection of props for creative shoots, and soon I will be creating clothing and more props specifically for my shoots, making my work even more unique!
My creative or fantasy shoots are generally done on location, but it is possible to do them in your own home or garden too.
Examples of this style of shoot include:
A narrative cinematic style
Dressing up as specific characters, role play
Fantasy – becoming a mythological being or channelling a Game of Thrones aesthetic
Creating scenes based on books, films or lyrics to songs
Surreal – artistic, quirky or strange images, may be humorous
Conceptual – basing the shoot around a specific emotion, idea, figure of speech, or something deeply personal to you – a memory or an event in your life
